Everything crossed
Monday, October 10, 2011This is the day i've been waiting for, but i'm not Tor.
Tor is currently at Harefield hospital, waiting for a double lung transplant. After eight false alarms, she has been told this one should go ahead later today!
There are no guarantees at this stage, and if you pray, now is the time to do so. Please also keep in your thoughts the incredible donor family who have given the organs of their loved one, at such a traumatic time, in order that someone else may live.
As soon as i know anymore i'll update here, and the @lungs4tor Twitter account.
Jess, Tor's understudy.

Oh yes, dearest hopes and all good wishes, oh yes I do hope all goes well. Greatest sympathy and admiration to the donor family. Thinking of you, Tor
ReplyDeleteI started to cry when I read this. Tor will be in my thoughts and prayers so much over the next few days.

Jess, thank you for taking the time to update the blog on such a nerve-wracking day. Positive thoughts etc heading Tor's and your way from Orkney. xx
ReplyDeleteI just posted on your facebook page but I'm so excited I had to come here too. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I am so excited for you and really have everything crossed it will all go well. You SO deserve this, I couldn't be happier for you, and I'm no one, just a random stranger. I cannot imagine how your family must be feeling.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and hoping Tor has a speedy recovery
ReplyDeleteKeeping everything crossed.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to both families...
