Ten steps forward, two steps back

Saturday, October 15, 2011

This morning brings with in news of a set back. Tor has had to be sedated again, after retaining C02 and struggling. Just five days post the most dramatic surgery imaginable, this is not suprising, nor is it unheard of. There were rumours that an exercise bike had been wheeled into her room- so i can't blame her for fancying another nap!
Tor has a long fight ahead of her, and her family are really being put through the mill, but if anyone can come through the other side with a smile on their face- it's this super star.

  4. Keep going Tor! Progression is never linear as we all know. A step back can help us to go forward.

(Thank you to everyone who keeps us updated on Tor's progress too)

  5. Hi Tor I am so pleased to hear you have got the transplant and I know you will get there as you are an amazing inspiration to us all and a fighter. I have been following you for some years now as my Nephew was also on the transplant list but unfortunately it was not meant to be for him and he lost his battle on 12th May. Thinking of you, your Family and the Donor's Family.
