Victoria eventually came out of theatre at around 2am this morning, after a long and relatively complicated surgery. She is now in Intensive Care on a ventilator, whilst her new lungs settle and her body rests. Four years of struggle must have taken an incredible toll on Tor's body, and it's no wonder she needs a good sleep!
As you can imagine, transplant surgery is enormous and the recovery process slow, but she's cleared the first hurdle in the journey.
Her incredible family are of course waiting with baited breath, and by her side every step of the way.
Presume that no news is good news at this stage, and that her body will take its time to re-gather ready for the fight ahead.
Please keep Tor and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
